Each set of strings is vacuum sealed so that they arrive in exactly the condition they left the factory. Cleartone was founded in 1996 by Phil Everly of the Everly Brothers. Unhappy with string options at the time, Phil started the company from the ground up and developed proprietary methods and techniques in an effort to produce the perfect set of strings. Cleartone Strings manufactures guitar accessories under multiple brand names including Everly Strings, Cleartone Strings, Sevilla Strings, EQ Strings, and Star Picks. All products are manufactured in the company’s North Hollywood, CA facility. The company is run by Phil Everly’s eldest son, Jason Everly.
