On August 20, 1936 in Washington DC; the US Post Office Dept. honored Susan B Anthony was instrumental in the women's rights movement, establishing women’s suffrage in the United States. Anthony co-founded the “Women’s Temperance Movement” and “The Revolution”, a women’s rights journal. She was one of the important advocates in leading the way for women’s rights, in the United States. Women were given the right to vote on Aug 26, 1920. Susan B Anthony died on March 13, 1906 at the age of 86.
