On August 20, 1936 in Washington DC; the US Post Office Dept. honored Susan B Anthony was instrumental in the women's rights movement, establishing womens suffrage in the United States. Anthony co-founded the Womens Temperance Movement and The Revolution, a womens rights journal. She was one of the important advocates in leading the way for womens rights, in the United States. Women were given the right to vote on Aug 26, 1920. Susan B Anthony died on March 13, 1906 at the age of 86.
