IT'S TIME TO CHANGE YOUR BATHROOM/KITCHEN FAUCETS Symptoms of a bad Cartridge: -Leaking from the handle, tub spout or shower head when off. -Difficult to open or close shower valve. -Difficult to turn shower handle. -Inability to get very hot or very cold water. HOW TO REPLACE THE FAUCET CARTRIDGE? 1. Turn off the Water Supply: be sure to turn off the water supply to prevent any leaks or water damage before replacement. 2. Remove the Handle: Find a small set screw near the base of the handle and use a wrench to remove it. Then pull the handle off the faucet. 3. Replace the Cartridge: Use a cartridge puller to pull the old cartridge out, and insert the new one. Make sure it's seated properly and use the retainer clip to fix it in place. 4. Reassemble the Handle by tightening the screw. FAQ: Q1: How do I know whether the cartridge fits my faucet? A1: Check the model number of your faucet or handle. Our faucet cartridges are compatible with Moen single-handle faucets except Posi-Temp and ExactTemp models. Q2: Why it still leaks after replacement? A2: Double-check that you have the correct model cartridge for your faucet. If it's the correct model but still doesn't fit or leaks, make sure it's seated properly and that all o-rings and washers are in place. Q3: Why the hot water comes out from the cold side after installation? A3: Take the handle off, turn the shaft inside the valve 180° with the twisting cap.
