Domain Kona is the new name for a 100-year-old coffee farm ideally situated in the center of the famous Kona Coffee Belt on the Big Island of Hawaii. Planted entirely with Kona Typica trees, our orchard is the model of long-standing, care & devotion to premium coffee farming.

At an elevation of 1,400 feet, Domain Kona benefits not only from ample sunshine and ocean breezes but also from the reliable afternoon rainfall. This very precious combination creates the perfect climate for coffee.  Care and nurturing of the trees in this ideal micro-climate is paramount to the production of one of the world’s finest and most highly valued coffees.

Kona Hawaii has long been recognized as one of the world's finest coffee growing regions. Coffee was planted on the Big Island in 1828 in the area of Kealakekua, very near our farm. Kona's climate and soil turned out to be perfect for growing coffee. The sheltered and fertile western slopes of Mauna Loa and Mt. Hualalai, along with sunny mornings and gentle afternoon rains encouraged the coffee plant to thrive in its new environment.

Experience gourmet coffee from a single estate in the heart of Hawaii’s famous Kona Coffee Belt. Coffee with a long history and tradition.  Select your favorite from our three roasts: Medium or Almost Dark or Dark.

The farm received the 2016 Farm of the Year award from the Kona Conservation District.
