In fact, slippage is a problem most commonly when the headband is too loose or when it's worn far back on the head,just because our hair is smooth. Here are a few ways you should know about this.
1, choose a fabric that is not smooth but soft and comfortable (increased friction between the hair band and the hair)
2, the correct way to wear.

In general, women's head is 21-22 in. For average sized head, the headstraps will not stretch much, so it will not be tight. If you find it is a bit loose, you can use two clips to hold the hair and headband together near the ear to avoid slipping.
